Sims 2 PC downloaded hair styles?

I've downloaded things and I've put them into the download file, how come it doesn't work for me? I can't see the hair that I downloaded off xmsims.comSims 2 PC downloaded hair styles?
Make sure you have all the meshes - this may mean re-downloading it, make sure all the folders are unzipped and it should work -- make sure all your custom content is enabled in your game!
