curly hair is harder to style but you can always experiment with partings (obviously stop before comb-over :P).


1) put a leave in cream in your hair, if it seems heavy when you rub it in your hands dont use it as it will make ur hair like dreadlocks. use a light leave in cream and twist every section using your thumb and first finger, twisting the hair until it goes tight.


2) to make it look a bit different, you could use a comb to create two partings (dont put up too much hair or it will turn to elvis and the hair clips probs wont hold it!!) on the top of your head and clip it back. if the front of your hair is long, once clipped you can just twist the back bits into the back of the hair so it isnt sticking up at the back.
i have curly har too and a stylist told me that you don't need much 4 the hair, just use a curly hair shampoo, conditioner, and while you are still on shower with a brush, comb your hair and then just apply a product , the curls are loose but look nice, try it out.
try a high ponytail when your hair is wet. otherwise, use leave-in conditioner, comb it, and put hairspray in it and leave it down.
