my prom is in 2 weeks and i could really use help picking a hair style

i have long thick light brown straight hair and multiple views of the hair style would be very appreciate please help me pick for this important dayyy! thank you!Prom hair styles? pleaseeee pleaseeee helpp!?
My favorite for longer hair.. and its especially amazing looking if you have thick hair and a LOT of hair.. is sort of the half-up-half-down ';horsetail'; hairstyle.... where it is up and out of your face but just cascades down your back.
