Thick Hair Styles/Help?

I have really thick hair, and I have layers. My bangs are about 2/3rds as long as the rest of my hair. My hair goes down to the tips of my shoulders. It's really crazy, and heavy, and wavy. I want it to be lighter, and neater. What should I do? Also, I';m thinking about getting it relayered friday, or getting it cut. What do you guys think I should do?Thick Hair Styles/Help?
My hair is also very thick but mine goes down a little past my bottom...finding hairstyles can be sooo hard yet sooo easy...for me at least but i guess i could share some of mine...I put mine in a little poof... or whatever you want to call it...on top of my head and put my pony tail to the side...this is alway cute but cuter if you straighten it first..thats how i do it...you could scrunch it and then just leave it down or put a head band or something in it....or just straighten it and just leave it down...okay..so my bangs are a little short ( I have never cut them there just that way) I part my hair on the side and put it in a tight ponytail in the back with by bangs straightened and pulled to the side.

Also a sloppy bun is always simple and stylish too.Thick Hair Styles/Help?
I also have very very thick hair, I got mine thinned and layered with a side fringe, if you dont like how thick it is or if it unmanagable then have it thinned at the hairdressers. If you have it re-layered without being thinned then it will make your hair look thicker and heavier.

Hope I've helped!

If you want your hair to be thinner, you could straighten it every morning, or buy a shampoo that is for thick hair to make it lighter. You could also ask your hairstylist more suggestions
Thick hair is a blessing. Don't get it layered, just get a trim and wear it straight. There is nothing sexier than thick, dark, shiny straight hair.
you could always straighten it, or by just using a shampoo that says it'll straighten your hair, then that'll just make it look thinner.
