hmmm. i always like the classic mousse and hairspray scrunch trick with my wavy hair. i have to use some sort of product to keep the frizzies down. try a half up/down with a claw clip...that's an easy and cute way to wear your hair. the fancier the clip, the better.
OK well if it is long try straightening it and pulling it into a long low side ponytail kinda like your avatar also you can try flipping out the edges or when you get out of the shower try scrunching it with your fingers.

I think the one you have in your avatar is very cute. Some other very cute ones are ones that are just plain straight, braided pigtails, and very wavy with a flower clip in the front.
