I'm a guy and I'm growing my hair out kinda long. I wanna do the Emo hair style. How long does my hair have to be to start out? My hair is at least 2 and a half inches long and my bangs are short. If you can send me some pics, that would really help. Thanxz. :)How do you do a long Emo hair style?
i would just let it grow but i would trimm the sides just a tennie wennie bit and trim the back so you have the top going then just keep on triming maintain the sides and back at the same leingth or just let it grow and go nuts!! make it krazy

Keep the length long but put lots of layers on top like this
